This document sets out the terms for using our website and obtaining an International Driver’s Permit (“IDP”) from us. We know it might seem like a lot of information, but it's important, so please make sure that you read and understand these conditions before you agree to them. 

1. By Using This Site, You Agree to These Terms 

The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and ("International Driving Institution"). Your access to, and use of, this International Driving Institution website (the "Website") is subject to the following terms of use and all applicable laws and regulations as defined below (together, the "Terms and Conditions").

By accessing and using the Website, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Terms and Conditions, and if you do not agree and accept these Terms and Conditions, please exit the Website and/or unregister your account or stop making use of our Services through your account. 

Your use of our Website and receipt of our Services are also subject to our Privacy Policy, and by using this Website and our Services, you confirm that you are aware of them and their provisions.


This Website is operated by Qompass Voyage Limited a company registered in Hong Kong with its registered office at Room 503, 5/F, Wayson Commercial Building, 28 Connaught Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong and Globetrotter Technology Limited (“GTL”), a company incorporated in Ireland under company number 633424 with its registered office at Trinity House, Charleston Road, Ranelagh, Dublin 6, Ireland; GTL is a subsidiary of QEEQ.

Our Website includes linking the user to third-party websites for the purpose of booking travel related products including flights, accommodations and car rentals; for avoidance of doubt these Terms and Conditions are not affected by, or are subject to the terms and conditions of any such third party, and any other agreements between the merchants and our users as is also further elaborated below.

This document sets out the terms for obtaining an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) from us.


2. Terms of Sale 

2.1 Acceptance of Terms of Sale. You agree to the Terms of Sale when you submit an Order to purchase an International Driver’s Permit (“IDP”). 

2.2 Each order you place will be a separate and binding agreement between you and us with respect to the supply of IDP. 


3. Validity 
3.1 The IDPs, subject to the laws, rules, regulations and guidelines of the country of intended travel, are valid for 1-3 years from purchase unless your domestic driver’s license expires, is suspended, or revoked in the meantime. 

3.2 You are required to carry your domestic drivers license with your IDP whilst overseas. 

4. Order Placement 
4.1 You may place an Order to buy an IDP by submitting the electronic Order form on the Website. 


4.2 When you place an Order you make an offer to buy the IDP and we may accept or reject an Order at our discretion. 


4.3 You warrant the information provided is correct, accurate and timely when you submit an Order for an IDP. 


4.4 Your Order is not accepted merely because: (a) you received a notice that we acknowledged your Order; (b) you received a request to confirm your identity or other details; or (c) payment has been charged to your credit card. 


4.5 We will: (a) if your Order is accepted: (i) notify you that your order has been submitted; and (ii) dispatch or hand to you the goods; or (b) if your Order is rejected: (i) notify you that it is rejected; and (ii) refund the Purchase Price to the credit card or any online payment account that you paid with. 



5. Payment 
5.1 Prices may change from time to time and the price for the IDP will be listed on the Website. 


5.2 You must pay us the Purchase Price upon the placement of your Order. 


5.3 If you pay by credit card, you warrant that your credit card details are true and correct and that you are authorized to charge the relevant credit card. 


5.4 If you fail to make any payment on the due time then we reserve the right to: (a) cancel the order or suspend further deliveries to you; (b) charge you a reasonable amount of interest on the labor cost occurred.


5.5 In the event that a credit card payment is dis-honored by your bank or credit card provider, they may charge a fee. Where we incur any fee or liability as a result of a dis-honored payment, you will be liable to reimburse us in full for the amount we have incurred.


5.6 You agree to indemnify us from and against any loss or damage we suffer in connection with a breach of warranty in sub-clause 5.3. 


6. Payment Security 
6.1 All credit card transactions are implemented under industry standard security features and online contains Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption. 


6.2 For online credit card transactions we use a third party processor and/or payment gateway that we may change from time to time so that: (a) payments are processed in real time; and (b) we do not have access to your credit card numbers. 


6.3 All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, we use third parties to validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data, credit reference services). By ordering from the website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order and we shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery this may cause. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information.

6.4 We use database management systems to store any Personal Information we collect and it contains security features, such as encryption, firewall and anti-virus, to ensure the protection and integrity of International Driver’s Institution.

7. Variation or Cancellation of Orders 
7.1 You may request to vary or cancel your Order and we may accept your request at our absolute discretion. 

7.2 We may request that your Order be varied or cancelled. We cannot vary or cancel any Order where the IDP has already been dispatched or already provided to you. 

7.3 We cannot consolidate your consecutive or separate Orders into one. Each Order will attract a delivery fee should the separate Orders require postage. 

7.4 In the event of variation: 
(a) you will pay costs we incur in varying your request including administrative costs; 
(b) we are not responsible for any delay in supplying the IDP caused by the variation; 
(c) nominated service level times, including but not limited to, processing and/or delivery, nominated from time to time may be effected by the variation and you understand any such timeframe may not apply to a varied Order;
(d) you will use all reasonable endeavours to provide any requested information within the period of time mentioned in such notice. If no timeframe is nominated, then all information requested must be provided within 3 days of the date of notification; 
(e) failing to abide by the clause 7.4 (d) may result in the cancellation of your Order, at your cost; and 
(f) we may cease manufacture and/or supply of the IDP at our absolute discretion, until any variation request is resolved

7.5 In the event of cancellation: 
(a) you will pay any costs we incur in processing your application and cancelling your request including administrative costs; 
(b) we will refund amount equivalent to Purchase Price less the costs incurred in paragraph 6.5(a). 



8. Accuracy of IDP Description 
8.1 You acknowledge and agree that: (a) all pictures and images of the IDP possibly displayed on the Website are for illustration purposes only and the sizes and dimensions of the IDP may differ from the pictures in real life; and (b) you have read all descriptions about the IDP prior to submitting your Order. 


8.2 You also acknowledge and agree that there may be technical or administrative errors in information including but not limited to the IDPs description, pricing and availability. 


8.3 We may correct any errors on our Website and if you placed an Order for an IDP that had errors, we may at our discretion: (a) inform you of the errors for you to re-submit, with regard to clause 7, your Order; or (b) reject your Order and refund the full amount of payment you made. 



9. Shipping and Delivery 
9.1 We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the IDP is dispatched to you so that you may receive the IDP on or around the Expected Delivery Date. 


9.2 We engage third parties to deliver the IDP(s). 


9.3 We do not and cannot guarantee the third party delivery of the IDP. 


9.4 We do not and cannot guarantee that the IDP will be delivered to you by the Expected Delivery Date. 


9.5 We are not liable for any failure to deliver or delay in delivery beyond our reasonable control. 


9.6 To the full extent permitted by law, you release us and our employees, agents and subcontractors from any Liability arising from delivery of the IDP. 


9.7 Should an issue be experienced relating to the delivery of an IDP, you understand, agree and acknowledge that the issue is with the third parties and not us. 



10. Refund and Exchange 
10.1 We only provide a refund: (a) for breach of express warranties we provided in regards to the IDP; and (b) when there is a violation of any other Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy warranties or rights you have under any legislation. 

10.2 To request a refund you must: (a) show your receipt or proof of purchase; (b) return, at your expense, the IDP in the same condition as they were purchased; and (c) provide us with information regarding the reason for return. 

10.3 All refunds for credit cards are made only to the credit card that was used in the Order. 


10.4 To the fullest extent permitted under the law, we do not accept or provide refunds for an Order except in accordance with this clause. 

11. Damaged IDPs 
11.1 No Damage Assumed. To the full extent permitted by law, the IDPs are deemed to have been given to you and received by you, free from any damage. 

11.2 Notification of Damage. When you receive the IDP, you must immediately inspect the IDP and notify Us within 5 days, by email or in person, of any damage to the IDP (including photos of any alleged damage if sending via email). 

11.3 Damage Caused by Us. We will replace the IDP and either send the new IDP to you at our expense, or resend the new digital IDP by email. 

11.4 Damage Caused by You. You are responsible for any damage to the IDP caused by you (including by any act or omission) for any reason, including: (a) using the IDP contrary to our instructions or directions; (b) modifying the IDP; or (c) using the IDP for an unintended purpose. 

12. Website Services Use Eligibility 
12.1. If you are under the age of 18 or the applicable legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you can use the Services and any other services provided by this Website only in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, your parent or guardian who has agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 

12.2 By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and Conditions and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. 



13. Data Protection and Privacy 
We highly regard your rights in your personal data and your privacy, our collection and use of your data is subject to our Privacy Policy, please refer to it for further information.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties
14.1. All content is subject to change and is provided to you "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. It also includes any expressed or implied warranties arising from any course of dealing, usage or trade practice. 

14.2 Please note that some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. Without limiting the foregoing, International Driving Institution neither warrants nor represents that your use of any Content will not infringe the rights of any third parties nor that the Content will be accurate, complete or up-to-date. 

15. Links to Third Party Sites
15.1. You may find links to other Internet sites or resources on the Website. You may also have accessed the Website through links on other Internet sites. You acknowledge and agree that International Driving Institution is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.

15.2. International Driving Institution will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any actual or alleged damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource, and any services, goods or content so relied upon is governed by the terms and policies of every such third party. 

15.3. Without limiting the foregoing, International Driving Institution specifically disclaims any responsibility if such sites: - infringe any third party's intellectual property rights; - are inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading; - are not merchantable or fit for a particular purpose; - do not provide adequate security; - contain viruses or other items of a destructive nature; or - are libelous or defamatory. If you establish a link to such sites or the Site, you do so at your own risk and without the permission of International Driving Institution. 

16. User Obligations
16.1. The user is responsible for the acquisition of rights to the content they upload to the International Driving Institution website (e.g. pictures in reviews) and thereby do not violate the rights of any third parties.).

16.2. The user is responsible and represents that they have the rights and/or authorization in the details they provide when applying for the International Driver’s Permit.

16.3. The user guarantees not to use the International Driving Institution’s services to create content that:
(a) is advertising disguised as reviews, 
(b) is not objective or intentionally untrue, 
(c) immoral, pornographic or in any other way offensive, 
(d) infringes upon the rights of third parties, in particular copyright, 
(e) violates applicable laws in any way or constitutes a criminal offense, 
(f) contains viruses or other computer programs that may damage software or hardware or that may affect the use of computers, 
(g) is a survey or chain letter, 
(h) is aimed at collecting or using personal data from other users, especially for commercial purposes. 


17. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use.
17.1. You may not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by applicable law or the terms and conditions provided herein, or interfere with any other person's use and enjoyment of the Website. 

17.2. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or any part thereof, or the computer systems or networks connected to any International Driving Institution's server through any means. 


17.3. You may not obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available to you through the Website.

18. Revisions to the Terms and Conditions
18.1. International Driving Institution may at any time, and without notice, revise these Terms and Conditions by updating this posting.

18.2. You are bound by any such revisions, except regarding any services received or sales on our website or through our Services that you have made prior to the date of the last set of changes.
18.3.  Therefore, you therefore periodically visit this page to review the current Terms and Conditions as every entrance to the Website and every use of it and the Content are subject to these Terms and Conditions at their then current version. 

19. Law and Jurisdiction
19.1.  These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region without regard to its choice of law provisions. 

19.2.  The courts of Competent jurisdiction located in Hong Kong will have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to or concerning these Terms and Conditions and/or the Website or in which these Terms and Conditions and/or the Website are a material fact.
